10 years ago the company invented, manufactured ,and started to market an applicator designed especially for silage inoculants.
A totally new approach to application was pioneered using
- submersible pump
- innovative electrical control system allows for application rates of 1/4 litre - 4 litres per minute (or up to 8.8 litres per minute using our dual pump system)
- with in-cab fingertip control.
Another unique approach to inoculants for Big Bales includes our automatic cut-off control which turns off the flow while the bale is rolled and discharged, and on again as more grass is picked up. We were flattered to notice that this has been copied (without permission) by a major agricultural company!

All this, combined with the low overhead costs possible only in a family business, dramatically reduces the price of the applicator to about one third of most others on the market, and at the same time increases both the accuracy and reliability. And - since the applicators are made on the premises, spares and replacements are always available for overnight delivery.
We were encouraged by our inoculant supplier customers to translate the instructions into 4 different languages to accommodate their European customers, since our attempts to communicate over the phone were met with much hilarity but little understanding!
The silage inoculant applicator:
Application rates from 0.25 Lts/Min - to- 4 Lts/Min. suit both large and small harvesters and a dual pump system can be supplied which doubles the output rates for the control box settings, giving a maximum output of 8.8 litres/min - for maize silage etc.
The finger tip, in-cab, fine adjustment control to give the operator the opportunity to compensate for variations of crop density in the field.
For Round Bales - an Automatic Cut-off Control. to prevent the loss of additive while the bale is rolled and ejected. Also a dribble bar attachment for more complete coverage of the grass as it enters the bale chamber.
